Thanks for the prayers
Yesterday was a crazy day of worry - I called the prayer chain and wanted to thank you for that quiet, significant ministry. It means more than you might know.
Yesterday morning brother Richard called to say that Travis (his son) had been rushed to the hospital. After tests it was determined that his shunt was not working. A surgery later and all is well. Travis will recover at home with his folks for a few days and then will be back to his boistrous self.
We've had worries like these with Trav since the day he was born - it's just part of the life of a special needs person. This emergency could have been much worse and we are grateful that it was not.
Again, thank you for the prayers.

I want to thank you as a church for praying for Travis and us this past week. Tracy has filled you in on the details, but let me say that a sweet peace fell upon us as you entered into prayer (and as Travis entered into surgery). I hope that in the near future our family can meet your church family. Again, thanks for the prayers.
