Where, Oh Where, Is Our Preacher?
She's right here, thank you very much! Seems some folks are wondering why the posts are so infrequent - well, I post when I have something to say! Maybe I'll ask Clint for some help - after 16,000 broadcasts, he certainly has more to say than I do!
A few items for you to ponder:
Rob will be out of town Sunday. Thank you to Delphene, LaJean, and Natalie, who have agreed to fill-in for him as teachers of Sunday School (Forum) while he's gone.
Nita tells me that Rex is doing really well and that Glen is back at Kings Manor and is also doing well. Both would appreciate cards.
Please peek in the children's Sunday School room throughout the summer. They are all the time adding things to our festive room - it'll look better and better every week!
We have had a good number sign-up for VBS - thanks! If you'd like to help by sending food, talk to LaJean. If you'd like to help by registering kids or working, give me a call!
FINALLY, we have a paid childcare worker who will begin this Sunday. Her name is Lupita and she will be in the nursery 9:30 - 11:30 every Sunday. Please make her feel welcome, and thank you to Larry and Stacy for accomplishing this goal for us.
One more thing: You'll all be pleased to know that now - thanks to Rufus - I have new glasses. I'm seeing much better. Feel free to complement me on my stylish frames the next time you see me.
Speaking of which, I hope to SEE you Sunday!
Tracy
