Sunday Worship
In the first part of worship Sunday the children will share their experiences from camp. There'll be a slide show of our time at Ceta Canyon.
In the second part of worship, I am recommending that parents consider sending their kids to the nursery this week.
Sunday's sermon will be taken from Mark 6: 14-29, which is the story of Salome who danced before King Herod, and the subsequent beheading of John the Baptist.
There'll be extra help (and activities) in the nursery for this PG-13 sermon.
Why even include a sermon from a scripture that sends the kids from the sanctuary? Because there's a message in this story for all of us - especially parents - to hear.
