First Sunday of August
A few reminders for Sunday:
1 - Thanks for the magazines that came in - they're a nice addition to our resources for Sunday School. We could use a few more, so if you're cleaning out your periodicals, please bring some to the church.
2 - Don't let the School Supply Drive pass you by! We need all supplies/donations in NO LATER than August 13th! That's next Sunday! Shopping lists are available in the foyer, or you can make a donation and I'll do your shopping for you.
3 - Mark your calendars for August 20th. We'll be worshipping at The Hereford Senior Center to celebrate Chandler Vogel's baptism. Sunday School at our place at 9:30; worship at the Senior Center at 10:30.
4 - It's communion Sunday, which means it's our day to gather canned goods for the Food Pantry and toiletry/baby items for The Rainbow Room. These ministries depend on our help!
5 - Sunday's sermon is from Exodus 16 - the Israelites receiving Manna in the desert. The question for the day is this: Can we ever be satisfied with "Just Enough?"
See you in church,
Tracy
