A D.Min. Proposal
I have the opportunity to return to school to pursue my Doctorate of Ministry.
The program is structured so that I attend class one week each semester. The rest of the time I will be in Hereford continuing to be your pastor, writing papers and reading on the side.
The arrangement would require one more week of study leave each year than I am currently allocated. Any change to my vacation/study leave requires a church discussion.
The written proposal will be available this Sunday, July 15th.
The meeting to discuss the proposal will be following worship two weeks later on Sunday, July 29th.

I'm excited about this opportunity. Unlike a PhD in Religion, the D.Min. is designed to be a very applicable degree, one that speaks to the church's specific issues. The project will be of my choosing, and I look forward to shaping its focus with your input.
