Forum Update
Note from Forum Sunday:
On Sunday, we talked about there being more cases of AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa than any place in the world with 22 million infected with HIV in 2007 and 11 million orphans. Sub-Sahara Africa is the area of Africa below the Sahara, in other words, the parts of Africa that are not also considered part of the Middle East.
Just a note of clarification, the country South Africa, which is part of Sub-Sahara Africa, is experiencing one of the most severe AIDS epidemics in the world with 5.7 million HIV cases. Here are some good links to help clarify:
