It's Tuesday!
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY ALERT!!!
Twice a year we serve cake at the Birthday Party at King's Manor. One such opportunity is THIS THURSDAY (APR 21st) at 3 PM. Lajean has the cake, she's just looking for folks to serve it and visit with the residents. Meet her in the Lamar Room around 2:45 p.m.
Peter and John went to pray,They met a lame man on the way,
He stuck out his palm
And he asked for an alm
And this is what Peter did say:
"Silver and gold have I none,
But such as I have give I thee
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
Rise up and walk!"
The sermon from Acts this Sunday will include this story of Peter and John healing the lame man, and the sermon that Peter preached afterwards. I hope you'll be at church Sunday.
Our study of "The Canonization of the Bible" in Forum is going very well. We'll focus on the New Testament this Sunday at 9:30.
