Don't Miss this Opportunity!
On the way to school Monday, Anna asked what I'd be working on this week. I told her that I wasn't sure. Now that the David series was over, I hadn't decided what direction to go next. She said, "Why don't you preach from that book in the Old Testament that has the really long name . . . Ecclesi-something?"
Little did she know that she gave me our idea for the summer! Yes, I'll be preaching from Ecclesiastes this Sunday, but more than that, this Summer will be "Congregation Request Sermons!"
Beginning this Sunday there'll be a box in the foyer for you to put in your scripture requests. You name the scripture and I'll preach a sermon over it. Any Scripture - I'll take the challenge! It can be a favorite scripture or a passage that has always given you trouble. It can be Old Testament or New Testament. You name it, I'll preach it.
I look forward to hearing your requests!
