We're Home!
Dear Santa,
Merle and I want some tools for Christmas! We are especially interested in a Slap Stapler and a Heavy Duty Palm Nailer. We want MORE POWER!
It was a great Thursday of work. We put in all the windows and finished the soffit. For four days of effort, our little group accomplished an amazing amount of work. Richard says he'd have our little group back anytime!

Thursday evening included a trip to the Oklahoma City Memorial, built on the site of the Murrah Building Bombing in 1995. It was powerful to watch our young people absorb the incredible impact that violence can have.

After dinner at the Spaghetti Warehouse we saw the Oklahoma City Redhawks win a ballgame. It was Merle's first (and likely last) baseball game, but she was glad to have the experience. Some of Tracy's friends from her OKC church joined us, as well as her nephew Travis.
This link to photos at Facebook will show some more pictures of the day.
We were home by 12:30 on Friday and are in the process of recovering from a wonderful and exhausting trip. Thanks to all who contributed to this important work in Enid. I hope we can return in the future - perhaps when it's cooler!

See you Sunday,
Tracy
