Looking Toward Sunday...
Remember that "Looking Back, Looking Forward" begins this Sunday in Forum at 9:30. We'll use this time to review the activities and ministries of this past year as well as plan what we hope to do together in 2010. The Team Captains will make reports and share their dreams for the coming year. We'll use as many Sundays as we need for this process. Your input is VITAL. I hope you'll be there this Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
Our sermon series on The Gospel of Mark is winding down as we approach Advent. This Sunday we will hear a passage that sounds a lot like the Book of Revelation. Mark 13 is often called "The Little Apocalypse" because of its vision of the end times. Jesus' message to his disciples is that the signs of the times don't always say what we think they're saying. "Keep Alert!"
Advent begins November 29th this year. It's hard to believe the year is almost over! How will you celebrate the arrival of the Christ child this season? What are your priorities going to be? What will this Christmas mean to you this year?
