Prayer Concern
Please be in prayer for Wendel and Merle. Wendel was in a car wreck Tuesday in Littlefield. He has some broken ribs and a fracture in his neck. He won't need surgery but is very sore. He is in Covenant Hospital in Lubbock and will be there at least another day.
Of most concern to him is their dog Duffy. Wendel was taking all three dogs to see Rhonda and Duffy escaped after the crash. All of Littlefield is looking for him, and Wendel will surely feel much better once he's found.
Merle is with Rhonda and says they don't need anything at the moment, but I will keep you posted.

UPDATE: (10:25, Wednesday) - They've moved Wendel to ICU because the broken ribs are making it difficult for him to breathe; he can't cough, etc. The move is simply precautionary and so they can monitor him more closely.
UPDATE: (6:20 pm, Wed) - They found Duffy! Merle was so happy when she called; she and Rhonda were on the way to Littlefield to pick him up. Wendel is doing better but will continue to be in the hospital for a few days.
