Book Group Reading Assignment
The Reading Group is starting a new book this Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Sweet By and By by Todd Johnson, says one reviewer, "is a lush portrait of Southern life in vivid detail with clarity and wit. You will be riveted by the story of a group of unlikely friends, five North Carolina women bonded by their shared histories, passions, and secrets. It's a genuine page-turner."
We're just starting, so don't feel like you're already behind! Come Tuesday and get a book so you can read with us. Copies are available for $10.
For those who have a book already, we'll try to get through the first 6 chapters this week - that's not really that much, I promise!
