Looking Toward Sunday
Hope you're enjoying the cooler weather we're having this week . . . isn't it wonderful!
Remember that this is a communion Sunday this Sunday, which means it's also our Sunday to bring canned foods for the Food Pantry. People never stop being hungry . . . please bring those cans!
Book group will discuss Time is a River on Tuesday, July 6th, 7 p.m. Copies are still available at church for just $4. Pick yours' up today, and we'll see you on Tuesday.
Wednesday July 7th is our time to serve communion at the Hereford Care Center. Won't you come and join me? It's always a blessing. You can meet me there at 10 a.m. . . . we'll be done by 10:30.
You might have heard that we are now the hosting site for the Hereford ALANON Meeting. There hasn't been an ALANON group in Hereford for quite some time. This is an important ministry that we are able offer. If you know someone who would benefit, volunteer to come with them. The group meets every Thursday at 8 p.m. Pray for this ministry!
This Sunday we will celebrate both the freedom we have as Americans and the even greater freedom we have as Christians. In my preparations this week, I found a wonderful website that talked about the Star Spangled Banner. Go check it out - you just might learn something!
I'll see you Sunday,
Tracy
