Welcome to June!

We've been to the mountain top . . . and nearly froze our tushies off! We're glad to be home from vacation and are eager to be with you this Sunday.

This Sunday we begin a month-long series of sermons from the book of Galatians. Galatians is undisputedly the work of the Apostle Paul as he fought to hold his church together during troubled times. Things were changing so quickly around him, and different voices in the church were arguing for different things. Paul urged his congregation to focus on the most important thing: the love and grace of God. I hope you'll be in worship for all four weeks of "Free in Christ."

This Sunday is also the first Sunday of the month when we bring food for the Hereford Food Pantry. Gather up some items and bring them this Sunday - Sally needs all the help she can get!

Ron, Connie, and Annie Banks have invited us to their home NEXT SUNDAY (June 13th) at 5:30 p.m. for a Hamburger Cook-Out! Don't miss this fun time of fellowship. The Banks have a lovely home and yard and it's always relaxing to be at their place. Something tells me the food will be FANTASTIC as well!

Men! Prayer Breakfast is Monday at 6:30 a.m. Larry promises "something to eat." Knowing Larry, it'll be awesome! If you've never been, come this week for a great time of fellowship.

Book Readers! Our next book is "Lost and Found" by Jacqueline Sheehan. (You can read more about it below in a previous post.) I checked the tracking on the shipping this morning and am hopeful that it'll be here by Sunday. Copies will be $5.

I was glad when they said to me, "Let's go to God's House!" I'll see you there Sunday,
Tracy
