Prayer Requests
A few updates on friends we love:
I got a quick call from Mary Lewis today. She's still in New Mexico with her son Terry as he recovers from a stroke. He's doing VERY well and hopes to be released to work and drive after his doctor appointment on the 13th of September. She will stay there until then.
Kathy Middleton had surgery on Monday and she will remain in BSA for a few days of recovery (Room 316).
Cara Dearing's father Alvin Frazier passed away on Monday. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Dimmitt. Please keep Cara and her family in your prayers.
Carolyn McDonald continues to improve. The doctor is pleased with her progress and says to just keep resting and getting stronger. She's at home.
So is Anna Solomon. Her knee surgery went well last week and now she begins the hard process of rehabilitation. She's resting quite a bit and is having more pain with this surgery than with the last. Keep her in your prayers (and Mike) as she recuperates.
We've received word that Betty Hodge's sister in Oklahoma has died. Please pray for her.
An update on Wayne Sims, Natalie's dad. The doctors have diagnosed him with lupus and mixed connective tissue disease. The doctors know how to treat his condition, but the recovery will be slow. Keep them all in your prayers.
Lots of folks who need our love and prayers!
