The Cupboard is Bare!
The Old Mother Hubbards (aka, The Board members of the Hereford Food Pantry) are passing the word that the shelves of the food pantry are quite bare!
They are asking all the churches in town to consider making a special donation at this time to help replenish the coffers.
Our congregation is being asked to focus on canned corn, canned fruit, and 1 lb. bags of either rice or beans. Of course, monetary donations are always welcome.
You have two Sundays to get your donations in: either this Sunday, or October 3rd, which is our monthly Food Pantry collection time.
