Studying Islam
For the next six weeks in Forum, we will be watching a video series about the history of the Islamic faith. The series "Islam: Empire of Faith", produced by PBS, shows how the Muslim faith began and spread through its formative years.
Everyone is invited to watch this series. We'll begin each viewing PROMPTLY at 9:30 a.m. on the Sundays of September 26 - October 31. We'll watch for 30 minutes each morning, which should allow a few extra minutes for questions and discussion at the end.
Every day we are bombarded by "talking points" about Islam. This is your chance to hear the whole story, from the very beginning, about this intriguing, mysterious religion. I do not doubt you'll come away from the series better informed.
