Can you believe it's December??
Happy Anniversary Ron and Connie! May you have many more wonderful years together!
We celebrate that Pat Green is home and is recuperating from her surgery.
THIS SUNDAY we begin three weeks of planning for 2011. Your participation is needed at 9:30 a.m. on December 5, 12, and 19 as we set goals for the coming year, sign up for teams, and assign tasks to the teams. Everyone's input is important so we hope to see you there!
Carolyn Baxter joined me yesterday as we served communion to Hereford Care Center. The folks there are so wonderful and always so grateful that we come. Consider joining me on the first Wednesday of January, the 5th, at 10 a.m. ... you'll be glad you did!
Mark your calendars!! Our annual church Christmas party will be Sunday, December 12, at 6 pm at the home of Wendel & Merle Clark, 139 N. Texas. Bring your favorite appetizer or dessert and be ready for a wonderful evening of good fellowship!
The children will be selling Hot Chocolate this Sunday to raise money for their mission project. They want to get an angel off the Angel Tree and give a child in Hereford a Merry Christmas. Come ready to support our kids!
Our Christmas Eve service will be Friday, December 24, 6 pm. This is always a special time of worship as we share communion, sing carols, and hear again the Christmas Story. Bring your out-of-town guests and celebrate this special service.
DON'T FORGET! This Sunday is COMMUNION SUNDAY. Bring your canned food for the Hereford Food Pantry. Sally continues to see an increase in need each month, and the winter months will be no exception. This is an easy and important way for us to give to our community.

Watch Out! On Sunday we'll encounter that wild man who wears camel-hair clothes and eats locusts and wild honey. Be looking for him!
Prepare the Way of the Lord!
