Welcome to February!
February sure came in with lots of flurry and fluff last night! I hope you have a place to stay warm today.
We have a special treat this Sunday. Our own Larry Malamen will bring the message for us this Sunday. His sermon title is "How Big is Your God?" and rumor has it there may be a Super Bowl theme involved! I will be in Corpus Christi preaching at the ordination service of a friend of mine. Share your gratitude with Larry - we appreciate you, friend!
Also Sunday! We're having a Sunday School party for our youngest members to welcome them to Sunday School! Teaching our little ones about Jesus and all the wonderful stories of the Bible is so very important. Thanks to Brandi & Connie and their whole team for caring for our kids.
Book group is meeting tonight to discuss Prayers for Sale. Our next book is a classic: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book makes every list of the books everyone should read . . . so we are! Copies are available at the church for $8. We'll discuss it on Tuesday, March 1st!
I got a call from Lajean yesterday. She's recuperating slowly but steadily at Triumph Rehab Facility. Continue to pray for her and for Joe.
