Tuesday Update
We had a really great crowd on Sunday afternoon to hear the first of a three-part presentation on Enneagram. All concurred that they were learning about themselves and others. In fact, there were a few familiar laughs as Suzanne shared stories to describe each personality type, for those stories hit a little too close to home!
On Sunday in Forum we will continue to talk about Enneagram but from a different direction. Several writers have used the Enneagram to look at familiar Scriptures in a new light. This Sunday we will look at how Jesus' attributes can be compared to the Nine Enneagram Types.
This Friday and Saturday is the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids' Sake. Someone asked what our church is doing to participate this year. As in years' past, we are providing the sandwiches for Friday evening. If you signed up with Merle to bring a dozen sandwiches, please have them at the bowling alley by 5:30 Friday Evening. In past years we've also had a team. This year, Clay and I decided to purchase a logo on the back of the Bowl for Kids' Sake, which is the same contribution amount as having a team. I saw the shirts when they arrived yesterday at the BBBS office, and our logo looks really great.
I hope you're breathing in and out the name of God as you walk through your week. Remember, God is as close as your breath . . . right there, ready to listen and strengthen you.
