We will pray . . .
I'm not sure what to say on a day like today.
Seems like any direction I go will upset someone I love. Of course, not saying something will upset folks, too.
Seems like everyone today knew exactly what to say, and they were confident that what they said and the way they said it was the absolute right way it needed to be said.
I'm not that confident.
And so I will pray.
I will continue to pray for peace.
I will continue to pray for safety for those who are fighting for peace.
I will continue to pray for wisdom for our leaders.
Most of all, I will continue to pray that you and I will be - we will think, act, and speak -- as who we truly are, the children of the God of Love.
